"The Gentle Pursuit". I saw something yesterday that made me appreciate what I think love should be. I saw a gentleness and love that gave me pause, and...that's all I will say about it.
The Mad Bandit isn't often at a loss for words, and I am not now. But it was something very special that didn't cause speechlessness...rather...it brought a moment of peace and realization that "needed no words". It was a moment of which I was not a part, but of which I truly felt...and I choose to treasure the moment as it was and as I hope it remains for eternity.
As such...here is a simple design to reflect the quiet strength of love that chooses and prioritizes presence, imperfection and a true appreciation for each other. It's for those who walk alongside others, not with the aim of detailing, categorizing and fully understanding every facet or intricacy of each others' lives, but in approaching each other with an open heart...with a commitment to learning, listening, and accepting who we are and what is.
We will never all agree on everything; we will always have our differences and own beliefs based on our lives and experiences. But I hope the simplicity of the design contradicts our complexities and celebrates the profound connection that can be found in the gentle and ongoing pursuit of empathy, and a commitment to the belief that true belonging doesn't demand perfect clarity, but rather an enduring, patient embrace of the beautiful unknown.
